Upload Progress, when uploading to Box for small files

I'm asking the question again, since the one from 2016: https://community.box.com/t5/Platform-and-Development-Forum/Upload-progress/td-p/16611 has not been answered.

 

Please note, this question is not about the progress when uploading to the browser.  I have this already completed and don't need an answer to it.

 

Is there any functionality to return a progress indicator for files less than 20mb?  I already have working a progress indicator for large files.  But I am finding that files between 5mb and 20mb there is a delay depending on the upload b/w of the server and sometimes the user is left waiting...

  Hi ,

   

  No, unfortunately there is not a direct way that I can think of to have an accurate upload progress indicator for smaller files - at least not one directly through the APIs that would support it.
