Updating files in iOS File app not getting reflected to Box.

Hi BoxTeam,

 

I am doing some testing in Box app, Here are my observation or steps.

 

1. Install Box iOS app in my iOS device.

2. Link Box to iOS File app.

3. Create a sample app which will revel the Box file app if open-in.

4. Open-in a file from Box app to My app, copy the file from Box path to local path. Update the file and move the local path to box path.

5. File gets updated in File app which integrate box.

 

But same file is not getting update in Box app or Box cloud version.

The file should get update. 

Any idea or not supportable ask.

  Hi ,

   

  I'm not sure I fully follow, but let me see if I can provide some guidance. For the iOS SDK you'll need to upload a new version of the file. Here's some documentation on working with file uploads that should provide guidance.
