UNC support for BOX

Hi,

I need to run automated workflow from a server which read in and write out files from box. Since the server runs those workflows as it's user, the file path c:/users/MyUsername/Folder will not work. 

Does Box support a UNC like //server name/folder/file path which I can use instead?

    Hi ,

     

    The way that Box will structure it's upload path is based on folder IDs. One of the main reasons why we don't use full paths is because a path to a file might be very different from one user to another, depending on collaboration structure.

     

    For file uploads from local systems to that folder ID within Box, we'll just expect a read stream during the upload. How you pull in that read stream is up to you.
