Support Policy - Please Read Before Posting

Welcome to the Box developer forum, where you can discuss with other Box users and Box staff how to best make use of Box APIs and tools from https://developer.box.com/.
 
If you are seeing a degradation in existing service, please use these channels for immediate support:
 
  • Account or API issues: For immediate account issues, or if you're experiencing a service degradation with the Box APIs, please file a support ticket or see the Box status site for any known issues.
  • SDK issues: For issues relating to newly upgraded SDK versions (e.g. methods no longer working), please file an issue within the appropriate SDK Github repo.
 
What questions can we help with
Our teams can help with development questions relating to the tools, APIs, and SDKs within the Box developer platform. When posting, please be sure to include the following, if applicable:
 
  • The problem or inquiry
  • Any code samples or tests that showcase the problem (please remove all personal information)
  • The full error(s) that you are encountering
 
Where to get answers for other questions
Out of respect for account security and to ensure the best product coverage for your questions, we won't be able to assist with the following areas:
 
  • Account changes / lookups or account feature enablement: For account related questions or concerns please file a request with our support team. Please log in with your paid enterprise account to open up the option to file a support ticket.
  • Questions not relating to the developer platform: To ensure that the right groups are available to answer your questions, anything not related to the Box developer tools and APIs should be directed to one of our other forums.
