Simple API to access only my account

Hi There,

I am looking for fetching few files from my box account(non-Admin) without going through length procedure of making an app etc.

 

Is there any such API available? After reading the doc, it seemed only way was to making an app and that too needed Admin Console access.

 

Help appreciated.

  It might be easier to just use the FTP (https://community.box.com/t5/Managing-Your-Content/I-m-having-trouble-using-FTP-with-Box/ta-p/323) or WebDAV (https://community.box.com/t5/Managing-Your-Content/Does-Box-support-WebDAV/ta-p/310) capabilities of Box to do something simple like what you're describing.
