Retrieve a file and all its metadata in one call

Greetings,

 

Is it possible to retrieve a file and all of its metadata (from metadata templates and/or custom) with a single API call?  I.E. is there some set of parameters I can send to the "get file" endpoint that will include all of that file's metadata in the return object?  Or am I stuck having to make at least 2 API calls to get the file and its metadata?

    Hi ,

     

    Unfortunately at the current time that will have to be accomplished with two API calls. With that said, if you'd like to request it as a feature from the Platform we have Box Pulse available. Suggestions made there are under response SLAs and go directly to the PMs for Platform, so it'll get to the right folks.
