Hi,

please suggest How to Create User with Password through Rest API,

general scenario when create user through api or BOX Application password sent to email,

when click link user need to change password here. in my scenario i want assign password directly with email sent by box.

  Hi ,

   

  For security reasons you will not be able to set a password for a new managed user directly within the create managed user call. The new user will receive a confirmation email to create a new password, but you wont be able to set that in the API request.

  What if you have potentially compromised users in an SSO environment with app passwords enabled and you need to scramble the password and do not want to have to log into each account individually in order to do this when responding to potential security events? Similarly, how can you revoke the token of the account via API so you don't need to inactivate an active user to invalidate the token?
