Hi,

 

I am new to working with box. I am attempting to download a shared file. The purpose of this download is to get a installer to provision new PCs for a company. I have been through the docs multiple times and I am unable to see a clear path to this result. Send a token or some other for of authentication is possible but we would like no user interaction. The file is shared publicly

    Thanks so much for using our platform and development forum and welcome to Box!

     

    If you're building an application and do not want any user interaction, you will want to use OAuth 2 with JWT for your authentication method. The specific endpoint you'll need is the download file endpoint. 

     

    In case you would like to use one of our SDK's those are located here. Since you're new to Box and the Box APIs, I suggest getting your feet wet first with postman before you dive into development!
