Box Embed results in a blank section of the screen

I have a site that uses a Box Embed link to a specific folder. It has worked in the past, but in the last few weeks, we have seen odd behavior.

If the user is not signed in to box, the iframe shows the sign in prompt as expected. If you sign in through that, you will see the folder. However, if you refresh the page or come back later, the section of the page is blank. There are no console error messages. But it appears there is a pending network call that eventually times out.

If I put the embed link/iframe markup on a blank index.html page or just look at it through preview through the box ui, I can see it work. However, if I put it anywhere in my site, I get the behavior I described above.

I have primarily tested this in Chrome, but have also seen this issue in Firefox.

Hi ,

I haven't seen reports of that behavior before, but given that it works well on a blank page but not on the site my first inclination is to check for potential interferences with other scripts / services that are running on the site. If you can consistently replicate the issue then you can test disabling other JavaScript includes that are running on the site to see if that might be the cause. If you can pinpoint where that might be occurring (if that's indeed the cause) then we can investigate the reasons behind that.
