BOX CLI on Windows - "base64 data appears to be truncated"

I'm using the BOX CLI on Windows 10 to generate some sample/test data for another application. I went thru the process of creating the app, authorizing it, installing the CLI package (presumably the most recent from the Box site), and configuring it successfully. However, nearly all of the commands I issue result in "base64 data appears to be truncated". At this point I'm simply trying to figure out what commands I may want to use for this testing project - but can't even do anything as simple as displaying info on a user ("box users get me" as recommended on the CLI installation page) without getting this error. About the only thing that works are configuration commands. What am I missing? Thx
