The Autodesk A360 Viewer integration allows Box users to view both 2D and 3D design files directly in their browsers. This integration is free for all Box users, and is enabled in all Box accounts by default.

Using the Autodesk A360 Viewer

  • Navigate to your design file in Box
  • Click the ellipses (...) for more options.
  • Under More Actions, select the Autodesk A360 Viewer
A360 -1
Note: The A360 viewer will send your file to Autodesk, where it is converted on their server. No A360 account is required, though if you have an account you will be able to save the converted file to your account.

Supported File Types

The A360 viewer is automatically enabled for the following file types:
.dwg AutoCAD
.nwd/.nwc Navisworks
.dwf/.dwfx Design Web Format
.dxf Design Interchange Format
.stp/.step Step file
.igs/.iges IGES
.stl Stereo Lithography file
.f3d Fusion file
.ipt Inventor part
.3dm Rhino file

Note: Currently, the A360 Viewer integration only supports single files. If your CAD assembly is broken into multiple files, the A360 viewer will only render the selected file.

For more information on the A360 viewer, visit its app listing in Box, or check out the A360 website.
