Canceling Your Box Account

To ensure the cancellation of your Box account is addressed immediately, please have the account administrator follow the steps below specific to your account type. The account administrator will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation has been processed.

 

Note: If the account administrator is unable to cancel the account or did not receive a confirmation email, submit a ticket here. Please note cancellation requests made through other channels besides this may be missed and could result in continued charges.

 

 

Starter, Business, Business Plus, Enterprise 

1. Sign into your Box.com account

2. Visit https://app.box.com/master/settings/accountBilling

3. Under Billing Information, click 'Cancel Account'

  • Don't see this option? Email cancel@box.com

4. Complete survey and click 'Cancel My Account'

5. Confirm cancellation and click 'Permanently Cancel My Account' 

  • Please note the account will cancel at the end of the service term

 

 

Personal Pro

1. Sign into your Box.com account

2. Visit https://app.box.com/account 

3. Under the Account Details, click 'Cancel Account'

4. Complete survey and click 'Continue'

5. Confirm cancellation by clicking 'Permanently Cancel My Account'

  • Please note the account will cancel at the end of the service term 

 

Personal

1. Sign into your Box.com account

2. Visit https://app.box.com/account 

3. Here, click 'Permanently Delete Your Account'

4. Confirm cancellation by clicking 'okay' to complete the cancellation.
