Re: MacOS 11 (Big Sur) Beta - Box drive crash

Hi There,

I have the same problem, after upgrading to 11.0 Big Sur.

I have the same issue.  If you open the console, it appears that a receipt file is missing, architecture isn't set correctly and policy for a hardened runtime is missing.

Hopefully, this is corrected and an update posted soon.

Mitch

Same issue here! Do we have any updates as to when we can have some updates from Box team?

Re: MacOS 11 (Big Sur) Beta - Box drive crash

Appears to be caused by Frameworks being [re]moved. Dropbox had the same issue and they already released a beta fix.

Please fix this soon, Box.

Re: MacOS 11 (Big Sur) Beta - Box drive crash

the box team needs to acknowledge this issue and come up with a solution... at least tell us how long it would take.

Re: MacOS 11 (Big Sur) Beta - Box drive crash

Same here.

Box is notorious for this. Historically, they won't release a compatible update until days before (or even days after) Big Sur is released.

And their beta is pretty much closed to the public.

Yet another of the deeply irritating aspects of Box for Mac users…

yay..nobody seem to care!! I am not sure why it would fail in every release 🙂 other applications seems to work fine. using browser to download na uploading is painful.

I stopped using Box, and I have download all my files on my disk and now started using iCloud for any urgent backups.
