Enabling Box Drive for Your Users

Box Drive should be enabled by default in your admin console. However, if you have chosen to disable published applications in the Apps tab of your Enterprise Settings (see screen below), you will need to manually enable Box Drive using the Individual Application Controls.

 

 

Note: Unchecking the Disable apps by default box will enable Box Drive along with all other published applications.

 

To manually enable Box Drive without enabling other published apps:

  • Log in to the Admin Console of your Box Account
  • Click the Gear in the upper right corner, then click Enterprise Settings
  • Open the Apps Tab
  • Scroll down to Individual Application Controls and look for Box Drive
  • Click the circle under the Available column

Box Drive is now enabled for all users. To disable it again, check the circle under Disable.
