Box Sync’s functions are also dependent on the quota eligibility of the file owner. The maximum file size limit for this account is based on the file owner’s account type. See https://www.box.com/pricing/ for eligibility information.

If you are unable to sync a file in Box because of the inherited file quota limits, alert the folder owner and confirm that they have enough storage available on their account. Once you have confirmed that the folder owner has enough open storage, press Retry All from the Problem Notification menu.
