Why do I have to do anything if I’m now using Relay Classic?

Effective January 1, 2020, Box no longer offers Relay Classic. As for any Box files you may have used in Relay Classic workflows, these remain in Box and you can continue to access them as you normally do.

Here are more details on the new and improved Box Relay and Relay Lite that have replaced Relay Classic.

After December 31, 2019, Relay Classic will no longer be available. That means you will permanently lose access to the information (template names, workflow steps, dashboard history, historical data, and so on) within its application. To retain this access and continue using your workflows, you must transition to the new version of Box Relay.


Any files or other content related to your workflows were always stored in Box – not IBM – and they are remaining in Box for you to access as you need.
