Tableau for Box
Tableau's new integration with Box allows you to connect Box as a data source for your Tableau dashboards, enabling seamless visualization of and insights into all of your most important content. Learn more here
Box Drive v1.5
This update allows users to add a Box Note to a folder by simply right-clicking the folder and choosing "Create Box Note." Also included are bug fixes and quality improvements.
Box Tools v4.0 & UI Updates:
In early March, we will be releasing Box Tools version4.0. With this release, Box Edit will once again support private/incognito browsers. Additionally, there will be minor changes to the user interface, bug fixes, and stability improvements. Learn more here
Box Relay Updates: Managing your workflow just got easier with three new Box Relay features
Changing Due Dates: After a workflow is launched, owners and admins can change the due dates and days required to complete any incomplete tasks.
Add/Remove Assignees: Workflow owners and admins can add, remove, and update the assignees for future tasks.
Group Assignments: Admins can assign a project to Box Groups directly from the Admin Console.
Box Notes Shared Links:
Soon, users will have the option of selecting 'can view' or'can edit' permissions when generating shared links.
Box Admins can configure the settings for this feature in the Admin Console in the Content & Sharing tab under the shared links section once it is available. Learn more here
Single File Collaboration:
We’re always looking for ways to improve sharing and collaboration in Box. To make it easier to invite someone to edit a file, we are launching the ability to ‘invite collaborators’ to individual files (previously collaborators could only be invited at the folder level). Learn more here
