The Search tool within Box Drive allows you to search through your content on your local machine just as you can with the Box Web Application. Sometimes though, Search will not work as desired. This article will help you in the event that happens to you.

New items are not appearing in search results
When new content is uploaded to Box or items are changed, they must be indexed in order for them to be returned by our Search tool. Please allow up to 10 minutes for these items to be indexed so that the processes can complete. If, after that time, the results still do not appear, follow the steps below:
Try the same search on Box.com. Is the new or changed item appearing in those search results?
Have a collaborator attempt to search for the same content.
