Nonprofit utilizes Box Drive to collaborate with teams in the field

Providing relief aid to countries is challenging enough, but doing it with legacy IT & devices only made it tougher for a nonprofit organization who needed a better sharing solution. 


Prior to using Box, the IT team had concerns with sharing through emails and attachments that were either too large or not secure enough with financial information. In addition, the nonprofit organization had staff traveling all over the world and in places where connectivity was unstable, so productivity became limited with other online solutions.


With the help of trainings and consulting engagements, the IT team switched to using Box to access their content through the Box Mobile app and Box Drive . Teams are now able to collaborate quickly and easily from anywhere in the world, often creating Box Notes from the mobile app to relay information on the go. With Box Drive, the Mark for Offline feature boosted productivity, allowing teams to access important folders offline in the field, working faster on shared content, and uploading their changes when connected back online at their offices. 


As the IT director explained to our customer success manager, "Box is GDPR compliant and allows us to securely work in an easier way that other solutions can't compete."
