Box for NetSuite - Single Sign On Authentication Error

A user receives the error message "Sorry, Box could not authenticate you with NetSuite Single Sign-On because your enterprise doesn't have Single Sign-On enabled in Box" after step 6 in the NetSuite installation




Troubleshooting Steps


If you receive this message, please contact Box User Services to enable the setting on your account required for the integration to work. 


Root Cause


  • If you already have an SSO connection set up for your enterprise, we must enable an additional setting, which allows your SSO to be used with Netsuite. Please submit a ticket here
  • If you do not have an SSO connection set-up already please review this article.
