Re: Data From Email to Box

Hi juandc,

By "data" do you mean files?  You can email files to Box using this method:

  1. Create or select the folder you want to upload files to
  2. More > Upload options > Email files to this folder
  3. Check the "Allow uploads to this folder via email" checkbox

Re: Data From Email to Box

@juandc I think you have a few options for backing up emails on Box. Here are some 3rd party services that will automatically copy over and save your emails to Box.

EasilyDo - https://www.easilydo.com/blog/do-it-of-the-week-email-backup-to-box/

MailStore - http://www.mailstore.com/en/lp-mailstore-server-email-backup.aspx?keyword=aw-en-suche-usa-email-back...

I believe these are both paid, though. IFTTT (If this then that) offers a free option for Gmail users here - https://ifttt.com/box.

Hope this helps!

Re: Data From Email to Box

On a similar vain to this note, are there any integrations to allow users to promote a specific email and attachments from Gmail to a designated location on Box? To express this as a use case: User requires all contracts to be filed in a specific location for each customer relationship. Agreements are generally received by email and an easy way to choose document storage location is important to the business.

Thanks very much
